Their music has galvanized a fan base of millions around the world, reaching a place of preeminence as one of the most timeless, revered and active bands in the world whose spot amongst rock titans remains unshakable. The band hits the Palace Theatre stage in support of their Bring On The Music Fall Tour on Thursday, September 19 at 8:00pm.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT W/ ORICE JENKINS The Living Room: An intimate music series. Artists from around town, and/or plucked from our stage play 10 songs over 2 sets. Cash bar. Orice Jenkins: Jenkins is a vocalist, arranger, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. His upcoming album, ‘Centennial Cole’, is a celebration of a great voice from the past: Nat ‘King’ Cole. The legendary singer was most famous for songs like Unforgettable and The Christmas Song, but Jenkins performs his own soulful arrangements of less popular and nevertheless timeless tunes, similar to his work on his 2016 release, ‘Soar’, which reached #11 on the iTunes jazz chart. This Living Room concert coincides with the release of Jenkins’ highly anticipated album, ‘Centennial Cole.’

Wesleyan University ~ A 24-Decade History of Popular Music (Abridged)

For the last 20 years Taylor Mac—who uses the gender pronoun “judy”—has created performance events that provoke and embrace diverse audiences. At Wesleyan, judy will perform the Connecticut premiere of the highly immersive and outrageously entertaining abridged version of A 24-Decade History of Popular Music (2016), a subjective history of American culture and dysfunction since 1776. The show highlights various musical styles and artistic voices, ranging from murder ballads to disco, Walt Whitman to David Bowie.

Under the direction of Emmy-winner Matt Cowart, join 2019 Jonathan Larson Grant recipient Andy Roninson as he features songs from his internationally acclaimed, genre-defying podcast Take A Ten as well as never-before-seen material from new musicals he has in the works. Andy Roninson is a composer-lyricist, orchestrator, and music director in NYC.
